“By the new edition of the Constitution, the President Kurmanbek Bakiev has more power, than his predecessor Askar Akaev,” the Deputy of the Parliament Azimbek Beknazarov said today.

He said that he counted more than 40 amendments instead of seven as it was set by the Parliament. “If those points, which give him more power, will be introduced in published text of the Constitution, then I will have right to file suit to the Constitutional Court,” he said.
