Bishkek to moot new Housing Code

Public consultations on a Draft of the Housing Code, Common Property in Apartment Houses: Problems and Solutions, will run in Bishkek on November 23, parliamentary press service reported.

The hearings will be held as a part of Enactment of the Kyrgyz Housing Code discussion, initiated by a group of parliament members. “Representatives of ministries, departments, local self-administrations, homeowners associations and other persons, involved in housing and civil society relations will attend the meeting,” the report said.

The hearings are called to specify positions of housing participants and to work out a concerted plan for their further legislative regulation.
