Dinara Shaidieva says Japanese Government to implement 5 projects in Kyrgyzstan

Japanese Government intends to implement 5 projects of total amount $357.137 million in Kyrgyzstan. The statement was voiced by Dinara Shaidieva, KR Finance Ministry State Secretary, at the grant contracts signing ceremony on 18 March, 2010.

According to her, “funds will be directed for purchase of medical equipment for Osh Interoblast Oncology Center ($86.680 million), Dzhalal-Abad Oblast Family Practice Center ($45.500 million), Dzhalal-Abad Oblast Hospital ($79.496 million). Besides, the grant will provide blind and visually impaired people with new equipment ($48.505 million), moreover the Petrov secondary school-orphanage of Chui oblast ($96.956 million) will be repaired.

We remind that Japan has been implementing the Grassroots Human Security Projects in Kyrgyzstan since 1996. Over this period at least 58 projects have been implemented for total amount of $2.252372 billion (inclusive of five abovementioned projects) in Kyrgyzstan.
