Alik Bayboriev: 1.300 people can enter Kyrgyzstan on immigration quota in 2011

1.300 people can enter Kyrgyzstan on immigration quota in 2011, Deputy Minister of Labor, Employment and Migration Alik Bayboriev said at today’s session of parliamentary Committee on Health Sector, Social Police, Labor and Migration.

According to him, foreign citizen, residing at the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, shall receive residence permit, in order to work. “But lately, a foreigners’ number has considerably reduced. Mostly our people, who previously became naturalized Russian citizen but residing and working at the territory of Kyrgyzstan, receive immigrant status,” explained Alik Bayboriev.

He added that only 439 persons received immigrant status in 2010.
