The leader of April 7 Movement demands to recall the Kyrgyz Embassy in Belarus

Ondorush Toktonasyrov, the leader of April 7 Movement, demands to recall the Kyrgyz Embassy in Belarus as he tells journalists explaining the aim of picketing in front of the Parliament.

“The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Belarus doesn’t fulfill its functions, doesn’t defend interests of the country. I spent almost a month in Belarus and picketed the Kyrgyz Embassy voicing the same demand,” Ondorush Toktonasyrov said.

According him, rationale behind recall of the diplomatic mission is escape of the Kyrgyz ex-President Kurmanbek Bakiyev whom Belarus granted asylum after 2010 April events. “I heard he became a citizen of Belarus. Without Kurmanbek Bakiyev, chief person involved in April events, all these court hearings on April events are just a show,” Ondurush Toktonasyrov added.
