The Oil Traders Association of Kyrgyzstan asks to increase prices for 95 RON and 98 RON gasolines, but leave unchanged the cost of diesel fuel. The Associationís Presidents Zhumakadyr Akeneev stated at todayís session of the parliamentary Committee on Agricultural Policy, Water Resources and Local Government.
According to him, today 526 filling stations of the oil traders have enough volumes of fuels and lubricants. ďHowever, it should be noted that the diesel fuel price increased by $167 or KGS 6.8. Oil traders raised prices only by KGS 2.8. The rise in the cost of gasoline is expected. In this regard, we request the antimonopoly committee to allow some increase in the price of gasoline of 95 RON and 98 RON, but instead leave unchanged the prices for diesel fuel. It is very important for farmers during spring field works,Ē Zhumakadyr Akeneev believes.
As Associationís head noted, the Customs Office does not release fuels and lubricants that oil traders brought into the country during two months. ďWe could bring additional fuels and lubricants 3 times during this period. The Fiscal Parliamentary Committee decided that the actions of customs officers were illegitimate, but nothing changes. The trial is going on, but there are no changes,Ē Mr Akeneev added.
