Kyrgyzstan will hold mayoral elections in Balykchi, Karakol and Tokmak on April 28, the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan has taken the decision today.

The chief of the methods and procedures department, Berik Isakov says that elections to local councils were held on March 4 and 25. According to the Kyrgyz legislation, newly elected deputies must elect mayors. Osh mayor continues to hold office until end of term of tenure.
