49 per cent of nationalized shares of Alfa Telecom CJSC will be sold at auction

49 per cent of nationalized shares of Alfa Telecom CJSC will be sold at auction. The auction will be held on May 22. It was announced by State Property Management Fund Chief Nazira Usenalieva.

According her, the reserved price is 4B soms. “All money from the shares will go to the state budget. As for dividends from the CJSC, the state received about 760M soms. Speaking about 51 per cent, which also should be nationalized on Parliament’s demand, it doesn’t belong to the state,” she said.

Nazira Usenalieva added, today’s list of the nationalized objects include 47 enterprises. The 5 of them were sold in 2011. The treasure received 200M soms. 6 objects more were auctioned but didn’t find its buyer. “There more objects (Dostuk Hotel, Alfa Telecom CJSC) and unfinished cottage in Bosteri town of Issyk Kul province will also be put on the auction,” stressed Nazira Usenalieva.

She noted that the state wants to save 13 per cent of shares of Concrete of Asbestos Slate Factory at Kant city and 5 autos.

Deputy Omurbek Abdyrakhmanov said that all these objects must be sold and earned money should strengthen the state budget.
