“We suggest assuring orderliness in licensing procedure in Kyrgyzstan,” the Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Antitrust Policy, Sanzhar Mukanbetov, said at the session of Ata Meken parliamentary faction today.
According him, the Law on Licensing says that license issuing must be considered by proper agencies within 30 days. “But it doesn’t specify whether these are working days or running days. We are offering to specify that licence issuing must be considered within 30 running days at the end of which permission will be issued automatically. What we have now, if licence issuing is not dealt within 30 days then it continues to be in the air. New rules are aimed also to raise responsibility of licensing agencies,” said Sanzhar Mukanbetov.
The official noted also that new regulations won’t embrace subsoil resources, minefields whose licensing is detailed in the Law on Mineral Wealth.
MPs endorsed the bill in followup of discussion.
