Omurbek Tekebayev: Kyrgyzstan’s Government consented use of potatoes in production of spirit

“Kyrgyzstan’s Government consented use of local potatoes in production of spirit,” the leader of Ata Meken parliamentary faction, Omurbek Tekebayev, stated at the faction’s meeting.

He says the republic faces a problem of potatoes’ sale. “The Government was offered to produce spirit of potatoes. Spirit can be compounded at fuel stations. Thus, we will have ecologically clean fuel and deal with the problem of potatoes’ sale. The Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov has given the green light; we have to work out mechanisms,” said Omurbek Tekebayev.
