The State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports told about the costs of the training of wrestlers for the Olympics-2016.
According to it, in 2015-2016 the state agency has allocated 9.3 million soms for 18 trainings of free style wrestlers. They participated in 13 international tournaments at 7.7 million. Greco-Roman style wrestlers held 26 trainings, spending 10.7 million soms, participated in 15 international competitions of 7.8 million.
Women's wrestling team held 18 trainings of 5 million soms, participated in 13 international tournaments at 4.2 million. In addition, members of the teams since July 2015 received a monthly allowance of 45,000 soms.
As reported, the government provided one-time cash reward for the 5th place at the Olympics. Arsen Eraliev and Aisuluu Tynybekova will receive one million soms, and their chief and personal trainers - 250,000 each. These wrestlers will get 1st category allowance (25,000) in the next two years in case of fulfilling an individual plan.
Earlier on, the State Agency reported on the costs of training of the representatives of other sports, who participated in the Games: weightlifters, boxers, swimmers, track and field athletes and judoka.
The Kyrgyz team has not won any medals at the Olympic Games in 2016. The best results- the fifth place of Arsen Eraliev and Aisuluu Tynybekova.
