Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won four medals at the Asian Judo Championship, the website of the Asian Union of this sport informed.
As noted, the competition in two age groups (among cadets and youth) ended yesterday in Kochi (India). First were cadets. Adil Myrzaev in the weight category up to 66 kg, and Bogdan Filippov (81 kg) won silver medals, Timur Kumurkulov (up to 50 kg) - bronze. Among youth in the weight category up to 90 kg, Azamat Bektursunov also took silver.
It is reported that another seven Kyrgyzstanis in their categories had a chance for the bronze medal, but lost in the decisive battle and took the fifth place.
