Kyrgyzstani Otar Bestaev won the first place at the International Judo Tournament. Judo Federation of Russia reports.
As noted, yesterday the city of Grozny (RF) hosted All-Russia competitions in the memory of H.A. Isaev. Sportsmen competed for medals in seven weight categories. It was attended by about 280 athletes. In addition to representatives of the Russian Federation, judokas from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, Greece and other countries fought for the victory. Our athletes won two medals.
Reportedly, Otar Bestaev competed in a weight category up to 60 kilograms. During the tournament, he defeated the Russians Muslim Dudurgov, Zelimkhan Albasov, Samvel Petrosyan, Yago Abuladze and the Armenian Shagen Abagyan. In the final, he defeated the Mongol Dashdavaa Amratushvin. In the weight category of more than 100 kg Yuri Krakovetskiy competed with representatives of the Russian Federation. He defeated Nazhmudin Nazhmudinov and Nikita Dibrin and then lost to Anton Krivobokov and won Artur Haptsev. The result - third place.
In addition, the Kyrgyzstanis Bektur Rysmambetov and Bakytbek uulu Argen competed in the weight category up to 66 kg, in the weight category up to 81 kg - Vladimir Zoloyev and in the weight up to 90 kg - Azamat Bektursunov. All of them have lost at various stages and remained outside the podium.
