The new Constitution abolished the statute of limitations for cases related to the conclusion of an agreement for the development of Kumtor deposit, the deputy Asel Koduranova said today at a meeting with journalists.
According to her, the Basic Law doesn't stipulate who will be prosecuted - the Prime Minister or someone else. "It is not written that it is in relation to a particular person. It's about those involved in the case. Ratification was in 1993, many years have passed since then," Asel Koduranova said.
She added that the relevant authorities should find out whether there are grounds to bring someone to justice.
