Unique surgeries have been performed in the south of Kyrgyzstan during the Health Week. The Health Care Ministry reported.
According to the ministry, during four days of the project, there have been carried out 46 operations, 557 consultations and 213 echocardiographic examinations.
"Specialists have performed complex operations using new technologies. In particular, in the gynecology sphere there have been conducted demonstration surgeries, using modern methods of treatment: a large tumor of the uterus was removed, retaining all the functions of organs and systems, including the fertility of a young woman. In addition, there have been carried out several surgeries with the use of modern methods of uterine prolapse treatment. As for cardiac surgery, a unique minimally invasive operation to restore the mitral valve of a heart with an aesthetic, cosmetic preservation of the skin of a young patient has been performed," the Health Care Ministry informed.
Recall, the Kyrgyz-Turkish project is implemented from December 12 to December 20 in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions.
