The Russian Federal Migration Service has opened the entrance to 10.5 thousand of Kyrgyz citizens and in the near future it is planned to open entry for another 40 thousand. It is reported by the press service of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation.
It is clarified that on August 21 there was held a meeting of employees of the embassy and the Federal Migration Service, during which the sides discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of migration. Including the implementation of agreements, reached in St. Petersburg on June 19, 2015 between the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and the head of the Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky.
In this regard, the embassy again asks Kyrgyz citizens in Russia with violations of terms of stay, to take the opportunity to legalize the stay, having carried out exit/entry to Russia before November 1, 2015.
"Despite a large number of Kyrgyz citizens staying in Russia with violation of the required deadline, only 7,626 of them have taken the opportunity of unimpeded exit/entry with the subsequent registration of a legal status. Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who were temporarily restricted from entering Russia in 2013, may carry out checks on the existence of grounds for not permitting entering the country on the official website of the Federal Migration Service of Russia," the press service of the diplomatic mission emphasizes.
