At least 14 people applied for one free workplace in Kyrgyzstan at the beginning of 2016. Such data are presented in the report on the results of the study of the local labor market of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2015.
It is noted that as of January 1, 2016 the economically active population of Kyrgyzstan amounted to 2,504.2 million people, employed - 2,302.7 million people. The employment service in 2015 recieved applications for 55,300 vacancies. Blue-collar jobs dominated among them. At least6,200 vacancies of them remained unclaimed.
"As of January 1, 2016 the regional microcredit agencies granted small loans to 1,055 unemployed. At the expense of these funds, the production of goods, trade and public catering, household services, car repair businesses have been organized. At the same time in 2015, about 25,200 people have been sent to the public paid jobs," the report says.
