The labor market of Kyrgyzstan is stable, the deterioration of the situation is not expected. These findings are included in a report on the results of the study of the local labor market in 2015.
It is noted that the labor market in the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic is quite stable. Experts do not expect layoffs. But, at the same time, it suffers from a lack of skilled blue-collar personnel. Recruitment of employees by employers becomes problematic.
"The employment services face a serious problem - providing of enterprises with personnel. It is more urgent now than reduction of unemployment. In addition, the employment services need to be updated in accordance with the changing situation on the labor market. However, these are the issues of legislation in the field of employment, which has not changed for over a dozen years. With the adoption of the new law on employment promotion, it is planned to introduce new approaches to work, aimed at a higher quality of services on the labor market.
