According to her, the festival will begin on December 10 and will end on December 14. "Film screening will take place not only in Bishkek, but also in the regions. Prior to the festival, there will be held round table discussions on the right to freedom of association, early marriage and motherhood, human trafficking," Tolekan Ismailova said.
Representatives of Bir Duyno added that the festival is timed to another significant date - the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Helsinki Accords and the Aarhus Convention.
