According to him, today the capital hosted a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Transport, where a number of projects have been discussed. "In the future, there will be the liberalization of transport services, requirements to vehicles and mobile composition. Today we also discussed the directions in which we will begin to connect with the economic belt of the Silk Road. The project involves more than ten thousand kilometers of various roadbeds and covers about 4.5 billion people. The Kyrgyz party has proposed the criteria and projects to be included in the coupling, and as a result, the infrastructure on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. We also discussed barriers that exist in the transport direction of cargo movement. There are many, we will determine what barriers are in the first and second baskets. In total, there are 4 baskets," Danil Ibraev said.
He noted that today Kyrgyzstan is in the transport deadlock. "We have a very weak density of the railways. Their length is a bit more than 400 km. It is very small - 2 km, if I am not mistaken, per a thousand square kilometers. In other countries, it is ten times longer. On average, vehicles, logistics costs make up 20 percent in the pricing of Kyrgyz goods. If we create a single space, which gives the possibility to use the railways of the EEU countries, it will stimulate," Danil Ibraev said.
