Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha informed that CSTO intends to create a single list of terrorist organizations.
"We will offer a completely new project - creation of a single list of terrorist organizations in the territory of the CSTO member countries. We have worked out the mechanism," he said in an interview to Mir-24, telling of the Collective Security Council meeting, which is to be held on October 14 in Armenia.
According to him, none of the international organizations has the mechanism of formation of a single list of terrorist organizations, which would be recognized as such in all the countries. "We were the first who developed this mechanism, we have agreed it, we will submit it for approval to the heads of state," Nikolay Bordyuzha said.
According to him, during the meeting, the presidents will be submitted a new strategy for collective security, and the decision on additional measures to combat terrorism.
CSTO Secretary General expressed his hope that the participants of the meeting would decide on the establishment of a crisis response center.
"We are completing work on its construction in Russia. We have developed a scheme of interaction between our countries. I very much hope that after opening of the center, we will be able to constantly monitor the situation in the Collective Security Treaty space and take preventive measures in case of the prerequisites to the different crises," Nikolay Bordyuzha stressed.
CSTO summit in Armenia will be attended by the President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, but before traveling to Yerevan, he will visit Georgia.
The Collective Security Treaty Organization includes Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Tajikistan and Armenia.
