Kazakhstan hasn't yet removed the phytosanitary posts on the border with Kyrgyzstan, the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary safety reported to 24.kg news agency.
Kyrgyzstan expected that the posts will be removed on October 26. On this day, the decision of board of the Eurasian Economic Commission on this matter entered into force.
On October 26, Kyrgyzstan hasn't received from Kazakhstan the notification of the withdrawal of phytosanitary posts.
It is expected that the KR will raise the issue at today's meeting of the heads of governments of the Eurasian Economic Union in Minsk (Belarus).
It should be noted that Kyrgyzstan has executed its part on the decision of the EEC to abolish the barriers in mutual trade. From October 26, the KR canceled mandatory talons which businessmen had to fill in on the border. Now businesses must provide a delivery note.
