Quarantinable products from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan were repeatedly detained in Novosibirsk region of Russia. Regional department of Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
At least 23.82 tons of quarantinable products from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, as well as 300 kilograms of Chinese tangerines, were reportedly detained by inspectors of Rosselkhoznadzor in Novosibirsk region at Karasuk phytosanitary control post.
About 2.32 tons of apples, cucumbers, rice grits, rose hips and walnuts were transported without relevant documents. At least 21.5 tons of dried fruit from Kyrgyzstan with an invalid certificate were also detained. Tangerines from the PRC were detained because of an incorrect indication of the country of origin.
