Kyrgyz Government presented the anti-crisis program of 87 points. Its presentation was held today at the meeting of the majority coalition in the Parliament.
Prime Minister Temir Sariev personally presented it to the deputies from SDPK, Kyrgyzstan, Onuguu-Progress and Ata Meken factions. At the beginning of his speech, he noted that the overall socio-economic situation in Kyrgyzstan is stable. "All the state authorities clearly exercise its powers, and the state holds the necessary arrangements. In particular, the government, including the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Agriculture, began the spring field work in advance," the Prime Minister stated.
He also noted that law enforcement agencies keep public order under control, that's why "big disasters or social conflicts are not observed." "You are hearing the government for the second time, and the majority coalition receives the necessary information. This is a good phenomenon, than we will meet more often and report to you, it will give good results, as it allows the government to address the shortcomings and move forward," Temir Sariev addressed to the representatives of the coalition.
Commenting on the situation in the economy, the head of the Kyrgyz government acknowledged "what happened with the oil had a significant impact on economic development in the whole world." "In particular, the economy of countries such as Russia and Central Asian states has sharply changed, which lost $218 billion, and the Middle East had lost $357 billion, Africa -$151 billion, Latin America - $60 billion," Prime Minister voiced the figures.
He added that because of this a decline in the number of jobs is observed all over the world - around 250,000 per month. "Social tension is even in the United States, where every month from 5 to 50,000 people lose their jobs because of the crisis," Temir Sariev concluded.
