Leader’s son appointed to head Central Development, Investments, Innovations Agency

Maksim Bakiev was appointed to head the Kyrgyz Central Development, Investments and Innovations Agency (CDIIA) as the president signed an appropriate decree Thursday.

The agency will work out economy restructuring strategies, deal with business and entrepreneurship support, attraction of investments in the line with technological and social progress, territory’s potentialities and multiplication of resources.

The agency will also carry out coordination and preparation of development budget, work out national economic programs, national infrastructure, investment programs, proposals for improvement of business environment.

The president has also appointed the executive personnel of the Central Development, Investments and Innovations Agency. Azamat Dikambaev, Uchkunbek Tashbaev and Aleksey Eliseev were appointed the assistant chiefs of the agency, while Kanat Asangulov took the post of the chief of the CDIIA budget service.

Note of the news agency 24.kg. Maksim Bakiev - 32 years old. Nationality - Kyrgyz Republic. He attended secondary school in the village of Kazarman. In 1999 graduated from Law Department of the Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University.
