"The new building of the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyzstan is an investment in the future of our bilateral relations," the Ambassador of the United States to Kyrgyzstan Sheila Gwaltney said today at an opening ceremony.
She noted that the U.S. Embassy has gone a long way. "The first mission was located in a building of a former kindergarten. The second building was built in the United States, brought to Bishkek and set up here. As cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic expanded and deepened, we have outgrown this building also. And now we have built a new one. We are very proud of it. My colleagues will be safe, will have comfortable working conditions that contributes to the creative and productive work," Sheila Gwaltney said.
